Montréal, November 29, 2016 – Michel Cyr, who lives in the Outaouais region, took home the $1 million Extra prize in the November 19 draw.

• Not quite believing the prize associated with his winning numbers, he asked his spouse to confirm that he had actually won a $1 million Extra prize!
• Mr. Cyr admitted that he had trouble sleeping in the days following the big news.
• On Friday, November 25, employees from Loto-Québec’s Consumer Services and Communications went to the Casino du Lac-Leamy to present him his cheque. Mr. Cyr was accompanied by his spouse as well as friends and family.
• For the occasion, Loto-Québec called on a Québec sign language interpreter to help Mr. Cyr, who is deaf, fully enjoy the festive gathering and have a WOW experience
• Excited and a bit nervous, the happy winner has a number of great projects planned.

Claiming lottery prizes in gaming establishments
Lottery prizes may now be claimed at the gaming halls in Trois-Rivières and Québec City as well as at Loto-Québec’s offices in Montréal and Québec City. The same service is available at the Casino de Montréal, the Casino du Lac-Leamy, the Casino de Charlevoix and the Casino de Mont-Tremblant.
