• Prize won: $2,000,000
• Draw date: June 25, 2016

Reactions
• Mr. Major checks his lottery tickets every morning on his tablet before going to work.
• On the morning of June 23, he only checked the Loto-Québec website after arriving at work.
• That’s when he realized that he had the winning numbers. He was frozen in front of his screen.
• He then asked a co-worker to double check. His colleague thought that the image had been tampered with.
• The winner and the co-worker went to the convenience store to set it straight, and the verdict was the same: Mr. Major won $2,000,000!
• Just a few hours later, the winner was being welcomed at Loto-Québec’s winners’ lounge to receive his big cheque.
• For the time being, Mr. Major plans on buying a pedal boat. He will take time to reflect on what the future holds in store.

Quote
• “I often pass in front of the Loto-Québec building, and every time I do, I say to myself that one day I’ll be coming to pick up my cheque. Today’s that day!” said the new millionaire.
