Montréal, June 22, 2016 – Bas-Saint-Laurent resident Marcel Malenfant won $2,000,000 at the June 11 draw of Québec 49. He decided to share his lucky winnings with his sister and six brothers!

• For 20 years, Marcel Malenfant has been repeating that, should he win the lottery, he would split his winnings equally amongst his sister and six brothers.
• As luck would have it, he was able to realize his dream when he won the Québec 49 grand prize.
• He was with one of his brother’s when he discovered his good fortune. The two immediately went to see their sister, Margeleine Malenfant, to ask her to get out the champagne!
• Mr. Malenfant called his other brothers to tell them that he would be sharing his prize with each of them. They were all touched by their brother’s generosity.
