CertificationLoto-Québec awarded the highest level of international certification in terms of responsible gaming for the third time

Montréal, June 15, 2016 – For the third time, Loto-Québec has been awarded Level 4 Responsible Gaming Framework certification from the World Lottery Association, the highest international recognition in the field of responsible gaming.

Highlights
• To receive the certification, Loto-Québec had to demonstrate that the WLA’s seven principles of responsible gaming had become an integral part of daily operations and that the Corporation continues to pursue a yet greater integration in that regard.
• Loto-Québec was the first lottery corporation in the world to earn WLA Level 4 certification in 2009 and a renewed certification in 2012.
• An international panel of independent experts in corporate social responsibility awards the certification. This renewal will be valid until 2019.
• The WLA brings together almost 150 lottery corporations from 80 countries.
